Our Offshore Division is very active in installation and dismantlement of offshore platforms in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

Each Derrick Barge is capable of anchoring in approximately 450' of water depth with its own system. Depths in excess of 1,000' can be accomplished with the use of pre-set anchors. OSFI can also perform dual lifts in excess of 2,500 tons using our DB-Swing Thompson and DB-William Kallop.

Satellite phones are in operation on each barge. Satellite television is enjoyed in our recreation room by off duty personnel on each barge. OSFI owns and operates derrick barges, cargo barges, tugs, anchor handling tugs, supply vessels, utility vessels and crew boats.
